Feedback Time!!
From time to time people send us an email or add a comment to a post. We love that! We love both positive and constructive feedback, and try and respond to everything. One avid reader, Adrian, has from time to time pointed out something that has been broken on the site and needed fixing. We love that it helps build a better blog. We also get quite a few lovely emails from visitors saying how much a post blessed them. Linda really enjoys those!
Some people say they use these devotions as the basis for their personal quiet times with God. Others have used devotions here to form the basis of a short homily at church, and others have used them in church newsletters. How do you use the devotions here?
With that in mind, what can we do to make this site better? Tell us how you use the devotions, and also tell us if we are doing a good job.
Blessings,
Cameron

I love reading the Daily Devotions as part of my morning routine. Right after I shower, I relax for a moment, sipping my coffee & reading the devotion before starting my day!!! =}
Hey Jakki,
Thanks so much for taking the time to give this feedback.
What a privilege it is to be a part of your morning routine.
Blessings,
Linda.
Thank you so much Linda for taking the time to write these devotions. I love reading them and spending time understanding Gods word. I love how you do a whole book and not just a passage here and there. I read the while chapter so not only am I reading Gods well if I don’t understand completely what He is trying to teach, your explanations are wonderfully written that sometimes I actually go, ” that’s what he is saying” specially when where in the Old Testiment. I also am a foster carer and loved listening to your pod cast about been a foster you spoke to my heart. Please keep up the good work. Your currently away and hoping and praying that all is okay and your just needing a break. What a wonderful gift you have been blessed with and a encouragement to see you use it. Love Sally
Hey Sally,
Thanks so much for your message. Great to hear from you. And get to hear you’re a foster carer too.
Great to receive feedback on how I’m going with the devotions.
Had a great break and looking forward to what God has in store for the future.
Linda.
Sorry about my typos
I love using your devotions for my morning quiet time. It lead me in an in depth study of Ester last wk. Can you possibly get it out earlier in the morning?
We are based in Australia and the posts typically go live at 2:00am our time, the email 7:00am and the post to the Facebook Page about 6:00AM. Where are you and how do you get the devotion and at what time? Since you have asked I suppose we could make a change if we can.
Dear Linda,
A big thanks to u for these devotions.it’s the last thing I read each nigh before sleep & each one I have learned from & has really
spoken to me- quite amazing really. My husband & I have been going thru tough times the last 3 years & this app helps put things into perspective & brings Gods word
into our daily lives in a meaningful way via yr stories & anecdotes.Thankyou for your creativity & dedication
These emails are very encouraging and help me alot. I actually found out these email-devos by somebody’s note on a verse in youversion the bible app. I really enjoy these on-the-go devos. Thank you so much daily devotional.org!!!!
Dear Linda, today was my first day reading your devotional and it was such an amazing reading! I’m trying to get as much info from the bible as I can, so that I may know, and this is a very helpful tool! Now I don’t have any excuse to study! So thank you
G’day!
Thanks so much to those who have already left a comment. I really love hearing from people who have connected in some way to my blog.
Feel free to give your feedback and let me know what God is doing in your life.
Blessings
Linda.
I really enjoy this daily reading but over the last few days when I tap the link to read the passage I get advertising for a product I already have installed – the bible app – and then can’t get from this screen to the chapter. It’s ruined everything, can you please put it back to how it was so I don’t have to remember the chapter, switch to another app (the one advertised!) to read the chapter and then switch back to read your commentary? Thanks
Thank you so much for this feedback. Can you tell me a little more about how you view the initial page, do you read it via email, an app or the website. We havent changed anything but perhaps YouVersion (where we link to bible verses) has. Would love to get to the bottom of this for you. Cam
PS I will also send this as a direct email.
Hi linda. I was just reading over a bunch of your devotionals and im curious why you dont teach about Jesus, Gods son. He is the reason for our salvation is He not?
Hey Joel,
Thanks so much for your message.
I’m certainly not holding back on teaching about Jesus. He is the reason I put so much time and effort into my blog.
I’m wondering whether you were reading mainly my Old Testament posts. The way I write is by telling a personal story that connects with the chapter I read and then connect it into the context of the passage.
Hope that makes sense and appreciate your feedback on the website.
Linda.
I found the site as an app for iPhone/iPad. I use the devotional as part of my morning quiet time. I am trying to go paperless. I love that you are from Australia. I enjoy the little phrases which are so different from ours. The neat part is the same Lord over all. Keep at it. We love it.
That is so cool that you like the little Aussie bits and peices. Thanks for reading the blog, so glad that it works well for you in a paperless way.
