I started my involvement in ministry in my late teens through beach missions and teaching CRE. I worked on staff at Doncaster Church of Christ throughout my theological studies and became ordained in 2005. I specialized in children’s ministry, service coordination and missions – both to the local community as well as overseas in the Philippines. I became one of the first State Primary School chaplains in Victoria as I pioneered a relationship between the local school and church. For two years I planted a church in a green-field area of Melbourne.
I now work as the breakfast producer for 89.9 LightFM, the Christian radio station in Melbourne, Australia.
In addition I have spent a great deal of time in the Philippines through the overseas development organization International Needs, leading short-term mission trips and supporting the native church planters. During this time I have been able to meet my sponsor children and assist their families. I initiated a partnership between an Australian church and a church plant in a provincial area of the Philippines.
I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology), a Bachelor of Theology and an Advanced Diploma in Ministry.
I’m married to Cameron and we have a teenage foster daughter, Joy.
Throughout my faith journey I have treasured the wisdom I have learned from the Bible. I love being able to apply the scripture to everyday life and appreciate that its wisdom helps me to have a greater understanding of who God is and who He calls all people to be.
Within this website you will be invited to join me as I explore what the Bible has to say about God, faith, life and leadership.
